As a new lender, but a business that has been active in financial services for over thirty years, it was with enormous pride that Mann Island Finance’s MD was advised in late March that he had been added to the list amongst people from many more recognisable brands.
Commenting upon his inclusion John noted:
“I’m very touched to have been nominated by Credit Strategy for inclusion in this year’s Credit 500. While my name may be on the list, I see this as recognition for the whole Mann Island Finance family. There are over 145 of us in the team and it is all of us as a team who have helped the business grow from our roots as a finance broker into a fully-fledged lender in our own right, albeit while retaining our broker capability.
In an era of fintech financial services we have ambitious growth targets, combing new tech with old-fashioned personal service. In spite of the massive challenge thrown by Coronavirus, we are planning on growth and one thing that we have learned through the crisis is that the value of personal service should never be underestimated.
The Credit 500 recognition may carry my name but the credit belongs to my team”
